If I put the height at 100%, it will only appear as “small noodles” and I haven’t figured out which element is causing it.ģ. What defines the maximum height of the window. Does it depend purely on the browser and can’t affect it?Ģ. In each browser, the built-in window with the PDF file is displayed differently – the toolbar is different. It is already displayed in browsers, but it causes other problems.ġ. The domain is set to Redirection to HTTPS: Enabled and deals with mixed content. The problem is that the site is https, but the path to the files is http, which causes the problem of mixed content and pdf is only displayed in Firefox (probably some built-in extension). WordPress can do this by itself and inserts it using the element. ↳ 2.I wanted the page to have an embedded PDF.↳ 3.x - Installation, migration et mise à jour.↳ 3.x - Questions générales, nouvel utilisateur.↳ Joomla 1.0 (Udgået version, der blev afløst af 1.5 i 2008).↳ Joomla 1.5 (Tidligere langtidssupporteret version indtil sep.↳ Ældre versioner (disse vedligeholdes ikke længere fra officiel side).↳ Installation, backup, opdatering og flytning - Godt igang.↳ Joomla! 3.x (Anbefalet til nye installationer.↳ 3rd Party/Non Joomla! Really scratching my head on this one, thanks again for your help. The code is the only one that seems to work, but is it because it's an "object"? Notice the blank space to the right side of the video, above "free live broadcast" (that's the chatwing iframe) - or the blank space below under the "facebook group" message on the column on the right - that's the joomshaper iframe I mentioned above. On this page I have an iframe calling to the website and I'm still just getting a blank space under the registration form: It appears that no matter where the iframe is pointing it doesn't work.
only because I'm trying to troubleshoot this and trying to see what works. I've been using the chatbox for months without a problem, it was only recently that this issue started happening.Īs you stated there are two different iframes on this web page from two different locations:Ĭhatwing (with the code they provide for their chatbox) and Joomshaper (with just a standard iframe code calling to their site). Thanks for your reply and for taking the time to give me a hand. That's something you would need to discuss with the owners of the content you're attempting to include on your site using the IFRAME method. There may be copyright and bandwidth restrictions on the use of IFRAMEs. I don't see any reference in the chatbox FAQ-for-Joomla that mentions using an IFRAME I could be wrong but it's something you might like to ask the people at Chatwing.Īs I wrote earlier, using IFRAMEs is dependent on the external site (a) being available and (b) whether the content is licensed for distribution or inclusion on other people's websites. Integration of the chatbox seems to involve a licensing fee at least, that's my interpretation of use of the API. Looking only at the chatbox application, it would seem (from information at the host's website) that the chatbox can be integrated within a Joomla website. You may not necessarily have permission to source the content from these two external sites. One of them is sourced from a chatbox application hosted at an external site the other is sourced from. There are two IFRAMEs used on the site in question.
If a website uses mixed-mode content then there would be other identifiable information displayed within the browser. Having said that, using mixed-mode HTTPS with HTTP content should not impact the issue. I should also state that I'm not a fan of IFRAMEs IFRAMEs depend on the availability of (and possible restrictions at) external websites: if the external site restricts the use of their content elsewhere (or if the external site is down) then this will result in either "blank" content or "HTTP 404" errors. From the outset, I don't know why you're having your problems.
